iPad Applications: Also Available for Kids

Technology indeed develops in a very fast pace and is also about to touch the lives of children. The iPad, by Apple, was originally developed as a thin and lightweight gadget to make communications and information easily available. There are also applications that help make office work a lot easier while providing an ease in browsing. Text messages and emails are also built to perform faster.

Recent advancements on applications for iPads also include applications for children. Because of its stylish and high quality interface, learning through iPad was also made fun and easier for kids. One example of iPad application is the Crayola iMarker which can be transformed into a digital coloring book, and can be downloaded by parents online. Crayola teamed up with Griffin Technology to develop this application. It uses an iMarker and ColorStudio HD, wherein the iMarker acts like a stylus that resembles a crayola coloring marker. Disney also offered its “Disney Spotlight” microphone which allows the kids to sing and record favourite Disney songs.

Game makers are gearing towards development of games for smart phones and tablets. They also plan to introduce more products and applications which promote learning and other fun activities that suits children.
